Reliable power protection for one of the world’s largest fiber producers

ABB in Indonesia successfully installed UPS solutions using PowerLine DPA 20-80 kVA system, ensuring continuous power availability for operation-critical infrastructure with local distributor support.

The UPS is installed at four different locations of PT South Pacific Viscose (SPV) facility to help overcome their power supply issues.

SPV is part of Lenzing, a leading global manufacturer of viscose staple fibers and sodium sulfate, essential ingredients in fashion, home textiles, sports and outdoor wear, protection wear, cosmetic and hygiene products, and high-tech applications. The PT South Pacific Viscose (SPV) facility in Purwakarta, West Java, works hand in hand with Indonesia’s textile producers. Over 40 years in business, SPV's high-quality viscose fibers have contributed to Indonesia’s position as a leading global source of premium textiles.
