Siemens Indonesia Launches Siemens Tech Summit 2026

PT Siemens Indonesia has launched the Siemens Tech Summit 2026 to address industrial digitalization, electrification, and sustainability frameworks. The event gathered approximately 1,000 industrial participants to focus on integrating physical and digital systems to support net-zero targets.

Digital Platform Portfolios and Technical Frameworks
The summit highlighted the deployment of the company's "X" digital platform architecture, which includes specialized functional frameworks:
  • Industrial Operations X: Formulated to advance autonomous, data-driven manufacturing execution.
  • Electrification X: Engineered to enable resilient and intelligent energy systems.
  • Building X: Designed to optimize resource efficiency and operational sustainability within building infrastructures.
  • Gridscale X: Deployed to support the transition toward autonomous power transmission grids.
The technical displays also incorporated dedicated knowledge modules covering industrial artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, digital transformation, financing, energy transition, and sustainability, demonstrated at the accompanying Technology Expo. The event was supported by platinum partners AWS Indonesia, TWINK Indonesia, and Metro Abdibina Sentosa Group.

Strategic Industrial MoUs and Enterprise Digitalization
To expand the regional industrial ecosystem, the company signed strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with three technical organizations:
  • PT Accenture Indonesia: A collaboration to design and scale end-to-end digital transformation solutions by integrating operational technology (OT) with information technology (IT), leveraging AI models and centralized digital platforms.
  • PT Prima Layanan Nasional Enjiniring (PLN Enjiniring): A partnership focused on strengthening the national power engineering ecosystem through technical collaboration, joint engineering services, and knowledge exchange initiatives.
  • PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel): An agreement to drive enterprise digitalization through network infrastructure upgrades, Internet of Things (IoT) integration, and advanced data analytics to support data-driven operational decisions.
Academic Engineering Software Allocation and Capacity Building
The organization expanded its educational program by partnering with seven additional Indonesian academic institutions, providing each with PSS SINCAL simulation software valued at IDR 100 million to support power system engineering education. The participating institutions include:
  • Sekolah Teknik Elektro & Informatika Institut Teknologi Bandung (STEI ITB)
  • Institut Teknologi Nasional Malang (ITN Malang)
  • Universitas Brawijaya (UNBRAW)
  • Institut Teknologi Sumatera (ITERA)
  • Universitas Trisakti (USAKTI)
  • Universitas Jember (UNEJ)
  • Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya (POLSRI)
This allocation expands an engineering education initiative that previously covered nine universities. Prior integration of the software at ITS and IT PLN since 2024 has assisted 40 graduates in securing career and internship placements. Additionally, a specialized student competition utilizing the simulation software to solve real-world power grid scenarios is scheduled for the following year.

“The Siemens Tech Summit 2026 is not just a showcase of technology; it is a catalyst for execution. By combining our digital portfolios with strong local partnerships, we are helping co-create a more sustainable and competitive future for Indonesia.” — Surya Fitri, President Director and CEO, Siemens Indonesia.
