Darma Henwa, an integrated mining services provider based in Indonesia, was first introduced to Liebherr’s flagship 70-tonne PR 776 mining dozer during this year’s Bauma exhibition in Munich, Germany. During the event, Darma Henwa delegates visited the Liebherr booth, where they explored the PR 776 alongside a range of Liebherr mining technologies and innovations. Bauma also offered an important opportunity for the team to engage with Liebherr Mining representatives and European production specialists to discuss future collaboration. The positive impressions gained in Munich—both from the PR 776’s capabilities and from interactions with Liebherr Mining personnel—played a key role in the company’s latest investment.
Formerly part of the Henry Walker Eltin (HWE) group, Darma Henwa has been working with Liebherr equipment since the early 2000s and was among the first customers of Liebherr Indonesia following its establishment in 1997.
“Since our collaboration began almost 20 years ago, we’ve seen Darma Henwa grow and continually raise the bar in mining excellence. As their operations have expanded, we’ve evolved our support to meet their needs, and we are proud to strengthen this long-standing partnership,” says Kamige Sulistyo, Sales Manager at Liebherr Indonesia.
